Obituary-WASLNUT- Marvin B. Guither, 74, of 510 Baseline Road died at
10:43 am
Monday August 7, 1995, at his residence.
Born April 2, 1921, in Walnut to Benjamin and Alma Attig Guither, he
married
Evangeline Albretch on March 3, 1946, in red Oak. She servives.
Also surviving are four sons, Jim of hudson, Kendall, David and Harry,
all of
Walnut; two daughters, Bonnie Guither of Tampa, Fla., and Mrs. Micheal
(Melanie) Alwes of normal; one sister, Mrs. Art (Viona) Gallentine of
Walnut;
one brother, Harold of Urbana; nine grandchildren; and two
great-grandchildren.
He was a farmer.
he was a member of red Oak United Methodist Church and its Brotherhood.
Services wil be at 10 am Thursday at his church. the Rev. Kollen Jamir
will
afficiate. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm Wednesday at
garland
Funeral Home. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Memorials may be to
Rock
River Valley Hopice or to his church.
