I am seeking additional information on the McGrath/McGraw/McGrah family
and descendants. Owen McGrath settled first in the Fredericksburg Area
and later in Prince Edward County in the Sophiasburg Area (Green Point).
Owen McGrath was a member of the KRR and a Loyalist. His wife was
Catherine. Her maiden surname is Unknown or unconfirmed although Burleigh
states that she was a Woodcock. The family came from the Mohawk Valley.
Owen was the son of Christopher McGrath/McGrah a native of Dublin Ireland
who fought in the King George War and his mother was Mary Connor daughter
of Sergt Owen Connor buried at Fort Hunter. He is buried at Fort Hunter.
Mary Connor's Sister was Alida Connor Wemp Richards wife of Jean Richards
Loyalist.
